Auriga to Participate in Medica 2015 in Düsseldorf

Auriga looks forward to meeting you at Medica 2015, the world’s largest event for the healthcare industry being held on November 16–19 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

According to organizers’ estimates, the event will gather over 4,500 exhibitors from 70 countries. As usual, Medica is well structured. This year, there will be five thematic focal points, including electro medicine; medical, information, and communications technology; physiotherapy, orthopedic equipment, disposables, commodities, and consumer goods; and laboratory equipment and diagnostics.

The additional point of interest for Auriga is the Medica Connected Healthcare Forum. It will feature innovative products in the area of Internet of Things, M2M, wearables, and mHealth, the technologies that are shaping today’s healthcare industry focusing on personalized care with the use of cutting-edge technologies.

The healthcare industry in general and the medical technologies market in particular demonstrate a steady growth rate. According to the latest report by Evaluate, a London-based life science market intelligence firm, the MedTech market volume will reach $477.5 billion by 2020, and global R&D will reach $30 billion.

Software development for the healthcare industry is one of our business priorities. The company’s portfolio includes over 50 completed projects in the area of software development for the healthcare industry, including the development of system-level and embedded software for life support and monitoring systems, lung ventilation systems, imaging systems, central stations, and mHealth solutions.

Lately, more and more customers are requesting the development of mobile solutions that can be integrated into the hospital’s IT infrastructure. Auriga’s engineers actively use cutting-edge technologies available for these projects. For example, in August, our company demonstrated a new wireless patient monitoring app built with Intel’s Multi-OS Engine at the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco.

Andrey Pronin, Auriga’s SVP of Strategy, Technology, and Marketing, emphasized the company’s interest in Medica 2015 and software development for the MedTech industry:

Nowadays, the development of new technologies has a significant impact on all areas of healthcare, from remote health monitoring via mobile apps and wearables to complex medical equipment.

Developing high-tech solutions for healthcare is one of Auriga’s top priorities. At the same time, we find the European market very attractive. That’s why we opened a development center in Vilnius, Lithuania, five years ago. Today, Auriga Baltics maintains successful business relationships with our European clients. Medica 2015 in Düsseldorf is a great opportunity to renew old professional contacts and develop new ones while discussing how our experience and knowledge in the area of the healthcare industry can help companies provide better care for patients.
