On October 22, Auriga took part in the business fair organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia (AmCham). This was the first AmCham event in this format, but it was so successful that AmCham is now considering making it an annual event.
The business fair aimed to develop strategic partnership relationships between Russian and US companies in the areas of IT, logistics, real estate, industry, and other sectors.
The event welcomed over 40 US companies, AmCham members running businesses in Russia, including Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Honeywell, Dell, MasterCard, and others.
Over 100 service providers and suppliers, including Auriga, had an opportunity to present their services and solutions and to establish new contacts. The event was organized in a “speed-dating” format, with a series of 5-minute pre-arranged meetings.
Vitaliy Zyuzin, Auriga’s Account Manager, says,
“AmCham’s Business Fair was an efficient platform to facilitate relationships between Auriga and prospective customers from the US. The ‘speed-dating’ format was rather new and challenging for us. Under time pressure, we had to talk to the potential customer, find out his needs and requirements, and present Auriga’s expertise relevant to each case. It was unusual and exciting. I would like to thank AmCham for this event. We’ll be looking forward to new fairs and conferences next year.”
