Auriga team was tasked to provide development and maintenance services for the main Customers’ flagship product – an automated storage warehouse management system that uses a simple set of equipment and powerful control software to provide a complete order fulfillment solution: storing, moving and sorting inventory, bringing it to workers instead of making workers go get it. 

From the technical point of view the project represents a combination of embedded experience, deep Java expertise and delivering complex solutions with complicated business logic. Auriga established a Dedicated Development Center and performed various activities including:

  • order picking and handling process

  • warehouse employees workplace automation

  • autonomous movable robotized units pathways optimization

  • system and modules customization to particular end-users needs

  • business end-user support

  • integration and customization of new system releases to the end-user environment

  • user interface development

  • manual and automated testing 

Main areas of Auriga responsibility:

  • Automated warehouse supply chain management (SCM) and assets management system development, testing and maintenance

  • UI architecture development, testing and debugging

  • Development of the technology solutions for the new UI versions (presentation layer, backend layer)

  • Elaboration of the mathematical models to guide, optimize and control the paths taken by the delivery autonomous units around the warehouse

  • Testing process automation
