Auriga Strengthens Management Team with CTO and VP of Business Development

Auriga, an American-Russian provider of offshore, offsite, and onshore software development services, today announced appointment of Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Business Development.

Alexander Petrov has been appointed to Chief Technology Officer. He will concentrate on helping customers succeed in adopting the offshore model. Alexander has over 14 years of project management and development experience in the Russian and American IT industries. Prior to his appointment to CTO, Alexander was involved in the architecture and design of WebCT products. He also headed several software R&D departments in the banking industry.

Sergei Riabov is promoted to Vice President of Business Development and will lead the company’s sales, marketing and operations. Sergei has been with Auriga for four years as Director of Business Development and established a number of key accounts. Prior to Auriga, Sergei held several senior management positions for Sybase CIS, including three years as head of business development. Sergei has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, including hands-on software engineering and project management experience in the defense, financial and telecommunication industries.
