In April 2015, Auriga and Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod (UNN) signed an agreement for cooperation in science, innovation activities development, and staff training programs.
120″ />In the official ratings, the university is consistently included in the top 10 of the best universities in Russia, and it is the best university in the Volga Federal District. The university boasts over 4,000 students, including 1,000 PhD students. For the last few years, UNN has been included in the top 800 of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings, which is arguably the best-known and reputed ranking of this kind. According to the QS, UNN takes 72nd place among the leading universities in BRICS.
Auriga and UNN’s cooperation will be aimed at training new specialists in the field of information technologies, creating development programs and internships and offering career guidance for students, as well as recruiting UNN graduates to work at Auriga. This means that UNN’s undergraduates will have regular opportunities to intern at Auriga and receive valuable experience working on real-life development projects for embedded solutions, enterprise software, banking products, mobile applications, web portals, and social networks.
Auriga has a history of emphasizing work with students and graduates. For example, in 2011, Auriga successfully lainternship programprogram, and in 2012–2014, tintroduced its mentorship and succession pool programsrograms. Since the very foundation of the company, Auriga has worked in close cooperation with the leading university in Russia, Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). Auriga’s training center was created on the university premises, where the company’s experts started teaching courses on Linux Kernel development.
At present, students majoring in engineering at the best Russian universities are the future of the Russian IT market. That’s why working with young talent and creating favorable conditions for the development of future industry specialists is one of the key tasks for Auriga as one of the leaders of the global software development outsourcing market.
