AURIGA is a custom software development company headquartered in Boston, MA with 600+ employees at seven development centers. We provide engineering services and deliver healthcare projects to a variety of customers, from small innovative startups to large multinational corporations. Our company is focused on satisfying the specific needs of software and hardware high-tech companies.

AURIGA BALTICS is our nearshore R&D engineering center at the heart of Europe. During 10+ years of steady growth Auriga Baltics participated in several complex projects, successfully completing such tasks as system-level and embedded software development, med-tech R&D, cloud computing, HIL testing and test automation. ABOUT THE PROJECT:

We are happy to announce that for this long-term project, Auriga Baltics is collaborating with US based Fintech technology vendor which has been founded by engineers and centered around tech products. Its a software-first company (vs software enabled). The company offers three distinct solutions: Complete turnkey solution to Launch & Operate a Digital Bank / Brand, Standalone Applications for Core, Onboarding, Lending & CRM as well as the platform to support Fintechs & Banking as a Service Business Models.

The tech solutions here are built on an innovative, reliable and proven architecture in order to pose an interesting challenge to create, maintain and update the platform. By utilizing robotic process automation, multi-cloud based solutions, API & Microservices (for process composition & 3rd party integration) on a low-code platform, you will join the team who builds and maintains products that are transforming the financial services industry.

As a team member YOU will Be Responsible For:

  • Designing and/or reviewing the new APIs and upgrade existing APIs to be compliant with industry standards;
  • Evolving the APIs to create multiple self-contained product modules that can be used by the customer independently or together;
  • Working with Product managers to define Experience APIs that are used specifically to support our Digital Banking UIs, and other points of interaction;
  • Ensuring compliance of APIs to the OpenAPI specification and standards like FDX;
  • Writing acceptance criteria and extend pipelines to ensure compliance with OpenAPI specifications;
  • Taking responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of all developer documentation, tutorials, code libraries and sample code;
  • Managing the process of updating, versioning and publishing APIs ensuring that they don’t break existing customer implementations;

As a candidate YOU should meet following requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience designing Restful APIs using API description tools such as Swagger, RAML, API Blueprint, etc. at SaaS or Enterprise Software companies;
  • 2+ years of experience with an API management platform/gateway like Apigee, Mulesoft, Tyk, WSO2 or equivalent with the knowledge of API mashups, analytics, developer networks, monetization models and security;
  • 2+ years of know-how in implementing security and identity protocols such as OpenID, TLS, OAuth, SAML, SSO, PKI (encryption and key management), REST;
  • You have the ability to write small amounts of code to test APIs;
  • You understand not only today’s use cases but also future use cases for the API; you are able to design APIs that have “runway” i.e. evolve naturally to accommodate future use cases;
  • 2+ years experience in an engineering role and articulate various aspects of REST and GraphQL – like usage of verbs, how to design resources, how data should be modeled, how changes are versioned – would be a plus;
  • Financial products experience is a huge plus;
