Auriga, a US-based software R&D outsourcing services provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Yuri Kirkel as Executive Vice President. Mr. Kirkel brings over 20 years of successful leadership at IT services and software product companies to Auriga.
As an Executive vice president at Auriga, Yuri Kirkel will be responsible for the company’s overall strategy, worldwide sales and marketing, and key client relationships. He will also oversee the company’s operations in the USA and EU.
Previously, Mr. Kirkel served as SVP of Professional Services at Mediaspectrum, a Boston-based leading enterprise CMS and advertising solutions developer. In that role, he drove the company’s largest development and deployment projects and ran all facets of the services organization while also serving as President of the development operations.
Mr. Kirkel is also a no-stranger to Auriga. In 2003-2004, he was Auriga’s VP of Engineering, leaving a great mark by leading our CMMi implementation and personally managing some of our most prominent accounts. Before that, he held additional engineering and management positions at various software companies and was one of the first creators of the OpenPages CMS.
Mr. Kirkel is a seasoned IT executive with a vast experience in both business and engineering. Over his 20+ years of industry experience, he led large development projects and multi-million dollar deployments in the U.S., Europe, and Australia, as well as managed offshore development offices and much more. Yuri holds an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston.
