Auriga Explores Experiences of German Industry 4.0 Leaders

At the end of November 2018, Auriga’s General Manager Vyacheslav Vanyulin traveled to Germany to participate in the “German Industry 4.0 Experience” event organized by the Russian Foundation of Educational Programs “Economics and Management.”

Germany is the European leader in manufacturing process digitalization and automation. The term “Industry 4.0” itself was first coined in Germany and soon became one of the 21st century’s main technological trends. Today, many German enterprises of various sizes across different domains are actively implementing Industry 4.0 technologies in their business practices.

Within several days of the event, Vyacheslav Vanyulin explored the smart manufacturing experiences of German companies such as:

  • KUKA Roboter is one of the world’s largest suppliers of intelligent automation solutions;
  • Bosch Rexroth is using the Industry 4.0 concept to optimize all processes and, according to analysts, is a leader of this trend;
  • Mercedes-Benz is a world-famous automobile concern;
  • Kärcher is a major worldwide provider of cleaning technology;
  • Tebis offers software solutions for industrial automation.

The event was greatly interesting to Auriga, given our IIoT expertise. Auriga helps production companies create environments in which they can easily monitor and analyze performance, streamline data flows, automate business processes, and develop new business models. In 2017, Auriga’s engineers participated in a large smart-factory project.

Vyacheslav Vanyulin, the General Manager at Auriga, was pleased with the event:

It was an exceptional opportunity to see practical examples of Industry 4.0, IIoT, and digitization in action at the prominent companies that are leading these trends worldwide, meet and network with companies’ managers, discuss areas of potential cooperation, and establish mutually beneficial partnerships.

The fourth industrial revolution is at the gates, and it requires a new way of thinking within organizations. It creates the need for new business models, processes, competencies, and industry-specific approaches. Auriga keeps up with the latest developments to provide our clients with excellent software services and solutions.
