Auriga’s Year in Review: Five Biggest Milestones of 2018

The year is quickly coming to an end, and 2019 is about to start. There is always something magical about the start of a new year, when people make resolutions and plans for the future. At the same time, it is a good chance to take a while to pause and reflect.

All in all, 2018 was a vibrant year for Auriga: we gained 20% more customers, increased our staff by 15%, and made several solid achievements that moved us forward, and about 30% of our engineers advanced their careers through additional training.

We asked our experts to share their opinions on the most important highlights of the year, and here is a roundup of the biggest milestones we achieved at Auriga in 2018.

Once Again Among Outsourcing Leaders

This year marks the eleventh consecutive time that Auriga made the IAOP® Global Outsourcing 100® list of the leading outsourcing service providers worldwide. Auriga was named among top companies for customer references, programs for innovation, and CSR initiatives, and we enjoyed additional distinction for sustained excellent performance.

Yuri Kirkel, Executive Vice President at Auriga, commented on this accomplishment:

Redesigned Corporate Website Launched

In the spring, Auriga announced that our freshly redesigned corporate website became live. Auriga’s new website allows us to offer our existing and potential customers a renewed and enriched user experience providing them with a clear and structured presentation of the company’s expertise and an online portfolio of the most exciting and recent projects delivered by our engineers.

Svetlana Anishchenko, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Auriga, had the following to say regarding the new website:

Throughout this year, we focused on updating it with relevant and accurate information about Auriga’s services and experience to help guide and serve our clients. New Engineering Center Opened

In 2018, Auriga strengthened its presence in Russia by opening a new engineering center in Novosibirsk, the educational and scientific center of Siberia and a rich source of engineering talent. The new office is located in the Novosibirsk Akademgorodok Technopark, an industrial park devoted to innovation, home to many tech companies and a popular meeting place for IT specialists.

Vyacheslav Vanyulin, Auriga’s General Manager, commented on the new center:

Our new engineering center in Novosibirsk is now steadily growing, attracting highly competent and skilled engineers to our team. Together we work on a number of complicated software development projects to deliver high-quality software solutions to some of Auriga’s longstanding clients. We have high hopes for this office and expect it to at least double in size during the next year.

Auriga–Aquantia Partnership Established

This year, Auriga became one of the first members of Aquantia’s new ecosystem development program. Aquantia is a leader in the design and development of advanced, high-speed communications ICs for Ethernet connectivity in the data center, enterprise infrastructure, access, and automotive markets. The company works with partners like Auriga to connect its customers with trusted hardware and software solution providers.

Elena Baranova, Director of Engineering at Auriga, emphasized Auriga’s pride in the partnership:

Once Again Among Strongest in Lithuania

In 2018, Auriga Baltics, Auriga’s engineering center in Vilnius (Lithuania), grew by 40% and participated in a number of complex and interesting software development projects within Embedded and Cloud. Moreover, Auriga Baltics was for the third time awarded the “Strongest in Lithuania” certificate and acknowledged by the credit bureau “Creditinfo” as being one of the most financially strong, responsible, and reliable companies in the country. Only 4% of Lithuanian companies have ever been rated at this high level.

Sergey Berezko, Head of Auriga’s European Branch, commented on this continuous success:
